Toyota Kirloskar Motor registered a growth of 22pc in June 2012. The company sold 14,700 units in June as compared to 12,034 units in the corresponding month last year. Etios series sold 6,155 units as compared to 5739 units in the corresponding month last year, thereby registering a growth of 7pc. Innova registered a 45pc growth with 6,785 units being sold as compared to 4,665 units sold in June last year. The Fortuner also registered a growth of 26pc. It sold 1,249 units last month as compared to 990 units in the corresponding month last year. Corolla Altis sold 5,05 units last month. “We have registered a growth this month based on strength of Etios, Innova and Fortuner sales.The Corolla Altis segment continues to be sluggish. We are relieved by the recent pull back of the fuel price, however we don’t see the market sentiments improving considerably with the other factors at play,” said Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing.
